Charlie arrived in Houston on Friday. Keeping in form, he was up at the crack of dawn and on his way to one of the many green markets in the area. He returned with several samples of locally made and/or grown vegetables, cheese, and meat. The area outside of Houston has small organic farms raising grain fed hormone free livestock, and beautiful produce available at the green market. A lovely bouquet of turnip greens for dinner.
