It's almost 10 pm locally. Rose alerted a nurse about the issues she had been having with the catheter and the nurse knew immediately to call the attending physician. He concurred that no chemo should be given through the catheter because of it's faulty performance, but the chemo show must go on, so they inserted a pic line into her arm that will serve for tonight. She should be wrapping up tonight's festivities already but instead, we're just getting started. I'll be staying with her in her room...this has been a tough and not-so-fun day for her but she continues to forge ahead like a champ. Here's a picture of her shiny new cath...
