Preparing the Nest

Rose is due to exit the hospital today and Ellie has been leading the charge on preparing the apartment - we're scrubbing, cleaning, changing sheets, and securing the landing zone.

When I left her last night, Rose was rubbing her palms together and grinning slyly at the prospect of making this change.  Having been through it once, we're both a little anxious, but we've been through the drill before, know what to expect and what to monitor, and I'm sure all will be well.
